Viscount Leverhulme Council Lancashire Night
 
To celebrate Lancashire Day, Ivan Millington on behalf of Viscount Leverhulme Council hosted an evening of Lancashire humour and songs at Horwich Masonic Hall on Friday 27th November.

This splendid evening was attended by over sixty people intent on enjoying an evening of Traditional Cuisine: Hot pot and Mushy Peas accompanied by Red Cabbage & Beetroot, followed by Apple Pie & Custard.
Members and their Guests enjoying a "Reet Good Do"
Lancashire flags supplied by a well-known Vexillologist from Blundellsands bedecked the banquet hall giving the evening a real Red Rose County feel.
Direct from the U.S.A. Rob Mason
Following the meal entertainment of Northern Humour and a Sing Along was provided by Rob Mason.
Rob hails from the U.S.A. (Uther side of Atherton).   As well as Lancashire Humour there was much singing, "Uncle Joe's Mint Balls", "My Brother Sylvest" and yes you've guessed it, "Ging Gang Goolie" finishing off with a traditional Christmas Favourite "The Twelve Days of Christmas" .
